Our goal is to provide a safe, fun place for our teenagers to hang out while supplying a study area and computers for those without these tools at home. Offering an alternative to unhealthy and life altering activities that occur when no other alternatives are available and to provide a structured environment where good manners and Christian values are reinforced.

History

Built in the early 1900's, this landmark started as two individual dry good stores, later the east half became the Post Office until the recent Post Office was built. The west half continued as a grocery store and the two halves became one in the mid 1950's. The store known to most of us as "Joe's Market" was closed almost two years ago. Purchased by Don & Shirley Konecny in August of 2008, it has been under major construction since that date.

Present

The newly remodeled building with 4000 square feet will again be divided in two. With the west half (Suite "B") being the recreation area with almost 1600 square feet it will house the concession and snack bar, booths and seating area. A pool table, ping-pong, air hockey and arcade games will provide entertainment along with TV's for a sports bar type atmosphere. Modern bathrooms, central heat and air and state fo the art sound systems will grace a period correct tin ceiling, lighting and hardwood floors. The old "Locker Room" door remains in its original location as an entrance to modern day storage behind the counter. The concession area will include snacks from pretzels to sandwiches, soups, candy and soft serve ice cream. Drinks will include shakes, bottled pop or water including some healthy drinks.
